Dr. King's Final Speech

When Martin Luther King Jr. came to Memphis it was at the invitation of Rev. Billy Kyles. Dr. King was there to try and help resolve the city's tense sanitation strike. Dr. King, weighed down with the burdens as well as the successes of the movement, sensed his leadership was coming to and end. Hear his prophetic last speech in Memphis.

Video from ct91rs and included on Museum Without Walls' hearhistoryspeak YouTube channel in the American Civil Rights playlist.
